Cold Steel XL Tanto Voyager: Portable Penetration

Tanto blades are good defensive choices and the Cold Steel XL Tanto folder is a high value blade with seemingly high combat efficiency: lightweight at only 5.3 oz, good reach with its bright finished 5 blade, ergonomic handle, excellent deployment stude, and excellent VG-1 steel choice (subject to change). Downsides would include limited EDC capabilities (all tanto blades imo), pinned construction prevents disassembly and maintenance, and poor pocket clip execution that needs modifications (shown in previous videos by Nutnfancy). While the usual Bowie or clipped shaped blades will still penetrate and slice extremely well while still tackling all kinds of utility tasks with ease, the Tanto remains primarily a combat style knife choice. It is somewhat overrated in capabilities and overyly hyped for marketing purposes (unless you need to stab car hoods frequently) but its reinforced tip and sharp tip/edge transition do indeed make it a valid defensive knife choice. For its reasonable cost and outstanding weight, the CS XL Tanto folder is one of the best of Cold Steel XL Tanto Voyager: Portable Penetration the high value tanto options. ////////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 6 out of 10
